Regulatory Information

It is a requirement that both Patent Attorneys and Trade Mark Attorneys are regulated in compliance with the provisions of the Legal Services Act 2007. The Intellectual Property Regulation Board (IPReg) oversees the regulation of attorneys on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) and the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA).

The Company is registered as an Entity with IPReg, and members of the Company who are Patent Attorneys and/or Trade Mark Attorneys are registered as Regulated Persons with IPReg.

In addition, employees of the Company who are European Patent Attorneys are governed by the regulations of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi).

Members of the Company who are Patent Attorneys, and members of the Company who are Technical Assistants to Patent Attorneys are members of CIPA. Members of the Company who are Trade Mark Attorneys are Corporate Members of ITMA.
